| Note: | Rates based on three years of pooled data. This is the risk-adjusted rate of all-cause in-hospital deaths occurring within 30 days of first admission to an acute care hospital with a diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI), more commonly known as a heart attack. Method of calculation: Number of deaths from all causes that occur in-hospital within 30 days of admission for AMI / Total number of AMI episodes in an 11-month period. |
